The pendant is formed using sand casting, followed by careful finishing by hand. A model is pressed into compacted casting sand to create the initial mould. Molten silver is poured into this cavity, where it cools and becomes solid. The resulting casting is then worked by hand to refine the finished pendant.
An oxidized 925 sterling silver chain measuring 50 cm completes the necklace's dark appearance. Wear it against a plain neckline to give the small pendant clear definition. Its compact oval form offers a quieter alternative to larger sculptural silver pendants.
