The Parts of Four Acid Silver Plated Brass Portal Bangle defines a wide hollow wrist object with a subtly destroyed silver surface.
Hand fabricated from metal plate, the bangle is cut into sections and soldered into a hollow three dimensional form. Its brass substrate is electroplated with silver and dipped into acid, creating the Acid Silver finish. The result is intentionally nuanced, with surface differences shaped by plating concentration, air temperature, and time in the acid bath.
The 55 mm width gives the Portal Bangle Redux a broad sculptural presence across the wrist. At 124 grams in size M, it carries strong material weight while retaining the volume logic of hollow construction.
